She wasn’t perfect and was totally ok with being only practically perfect. So why do we keep striving for perfection?
Why are we making it hard on ourselves to be perfect at everything that we do? Nobody is perfect. Don't strive for perfection, strive to be the best version of you.
How can you be you on your best day…everyday?
And when you're not, you shouldn't beat yourself up. We all have bad days. We all have bad weeks or bad periods of time in our lives, that affects our ability to be the absolute best version of ourselves.
So be more Mary Poppins, who's practically perfect and being the best of herself. She is okay with that and we should be too.
If you're looking for perfection in your business, you are never going to find it. If you're looking to be the best version of yourself, then that is doable. Aim for being the most productive that you can be most of the time. Aim for being consistent most of the time. You will get much better results than aiming for perfection, because every time we aim for perfection and fail, we end up doing nothing. We end up procrastinating and retreating, so better to be practically perfect than perfect.
So embrace your Mary Poppins – the best version of you.
